Tackling the overheating Jeep – Part 1After struggling with overheating issues last week, this week I dove into trying to diagnose what the issue might be, the thermostat, the coolant, the radiator, etc. Plus taking some temperature readings and a test run without a thermostat.
4th of July Parade and Overheating IssuesFor the second year in a row, I was able to participate in the Corona, CA 4th of July Parade… and this time I got to tow a WW2 Jeep Trailer (first time)! But, as I drove home, the Jeep started to overheat, so I do some digging into the issue.

Air Cleaner Restoration, Fuel Gauge Calibration, Early Fire Extinguisher, & More!This week’s update is full of some great goodies. First, I continue work on a friend’s post-war air cleaner restoration for his Jeep. Then I get to work getting the fuel gauge to read the right fuel level. Work continues as more gets added to the JeepThe last week has been pretty busy with work done on the Jeep each day. The pace has certainly slowed down dramatically, and many of the projects I have left take a long time to complete, so it’s not as productive feeling since these projects are tedious. The good news is the Jeep RUNS! The bad news… there’s another issue.

Work here and there…For the last two weeks I’ve been working on the Jeep when I can, but it’s been busy with the Planes of Fame Air Show 2019 and several air to air photoshoots. But things are getting back on track and there’s a lot to update on the Jeep, so let’s go!
Painting and Grill WorkFinally was able to get some more painting in, mainly due to setting up a paint booth because I was so fed up with the wind! Progress is coming along, as most things get painted the closer I get to putting them back on the Jeep!
