GPW Rear Axle

GPW Rear AxleThe complete ‘clackity’ Axle Saga

It’s been 5 months now since I replaced the CJ axles on my Jeep with original GPW wartime ones. I got quite a few things in the mail to continue my ongoing quest to correct post-war things on the Jeep, got more radioactive Firestone spark plugs, worked on the GPW hood including fixing some stress cracks, and fixed a stripped bolt hole in the rear axle hub with a Helicoil kit in this first part!
